Key Players |
Ram Vaswani of London takes a great third place although at one stage he had more than half the chips at the three handed stage. He got aggressive and lost it quickly. Peter Costa of Leicester and all time money winners at the WSOP moves back into first; Huc Seed, 1996 World Champion. The winner Mike Majerus was a supposed-to-be-a-dealer for this years series but after his 3rd place in the Dealers tournament yesterday he played this and picked up several years wages! Afterwards he announced retirement to play poker full time.
Interesting to note Martine Oules who finished 26th is the french wife of Paul Magriel the 1978 World Backgammon Champion and a past winner herself of big BG tournaments.
45 places paid in total |
