Record attendance was 1997 when 160 showed. The fourth straight tournament at this years Series where there has been more than a 20% drop in players and money. Last year another experienced player, Berry Johnstone, showed that experience counts in this discipline.
A curious thing is that all of Baxter's bracelets have come in the low games. He only learned hold'em three years ago.
